AMC and BBC Co-Production of Fourth Season Set to Premiere Spring 2007

New York, October 2, 2006 – The cast and crew of AMC's critically-acclaimed, stylish original series HUSTLE are currently in production in London. In November and December, the production will cross the pond to shoot two episodes in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The new season of six episodes, featuring U.S. and U.K. locations, is set to premiere in Spring 2007.

"AMC is so proud to bring this critically acclaimed drama back for an all-new season of cons, and to introduce this slick cast to a whole new country full of unsuspecting marks," commented Rob Sorcher, Executive Vice President, Programming and Production. "Hustle's stylish and cinematic quality makes this series an anchor of our original programming lineup for 2007." HUSTLE's charming and sophisticated cast of con artists stars: Robert Vaughn (The Magnificent Seven, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.") as Albert, the veteran "roper;" Adrian Lester (Spiderman 3, Primary Colors) as Mickey, the group's smooth-talking "inside man;" Jaime Murray (Animal) as Stacey, the beautiful and brainy "lure;" Marc Warren (Colour Me Kubrick) as Danny, the fiercely talented but unpredictable "wild card;" and Robert Glenister (Victoria Station) as Ash, the jack-of-all-trades "fixer." They will be joined by a new grifter character Billy Bond, portrayed by Ashley Walters, a British rapper and actor known for his work with the musical group So Solid Crew. His film credits include the lead in Bullet Boy, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and he has just completed filming Sugar House Lane with Andy Serkis.

HUSTLE is a weekly, hour-long series that follows the exploits of a crew of London-based con artists who pull off daringly intricate stings to swindle money from greedy, morally corrupt "marks." Utilizing surreal camerawork and cinematic photography, the series take the viewer into the hidden world of scammers to reveal the personalities and perverse artistry of the high-end confidence game.

Produced in association with AMC, the series is made by Kudos Film and TV for the BBC. HUSTLE is produced by Karen Wilson and Lucy Robinson, inspired by an idea from Bharat Nalluri (Spooks), and written and created by Tony Jordan (Chief Storyline Consultant, EastEnders). Executive producers are Jane Featherstone (Touching Evil, Spooks) and Simon Crawford Collins (Spooks) of Kudos.

HUSTLE Season 1 is currently available on DVD at local retailers or at BBCAmericashop.com
