2017 Ceremony To Premiere Live on IFC and Live Stream on Sundance Now

NEW YORK – February 23, 2017 – Today, Film Independent, the nonprofit arts organization that produces the Spirit Awards and the LA Film Festival, and IFC announced the full list of presenters for Film Independent Spirit Awards. The show, co-hosted this year by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney, will air live on IFC on Saturday, February 25 at 2:00 pm PT / 5:00 pm ET. Online streaming service Sundance Now (www.sundancenow.com) will live-stream the Spirit Awards concurrently with the telecast, with an archived version available to Sundance Now members shortly after the telecast concludes.
The full list of presenters includes: Fred Armisen, Hank Azaria, Kate Beckinsale, Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jon Hamm, Taraji P. Henson, Samuel L. Jackson, Danny McBride, Janelle Monae, Viggo Mortensen, David Oyelowo, Amanda Peet, Freida Pinto, Aubrey Plaza, Issa Rae, Edgar Ramirez, Jenny Slate, Miles Teller and Kerry Washington.
2017 marks the 32nd year of the awards that celebrate the best in independent film, and the show has aired on IFC for more than two decades. Joel Gallen of Tenth Planet Productions returns for his third year as executive producer, producer Shawn Davis returns for his 15th show. Danielle Federico and Andrew Schaff will be co-producing the awards.
