(Woodbury, New York, March 29, 2004) — The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has honored News 12 Networks with a total of twelve New York Emmy Award nominations. News 12 Long Island took home eight statues, with News 12 New Jersey and News 12 Westchester each receiving two emmys. The 47th Annual Emmy awards were presented last night at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
This year, the National Television Academy bestowed The Governors of New York Chapter honor to News 12 Networks President, Patrick Dolan. This high honor is presented to those who have made a significant contribution to the journalism field.
