BRONX, NEW YORK, May 8, 2000 – News 12 The Bronx Sports Reporter Ed Benjamin accepted a National Headliner Award from The Press Club of Atlantic City during an awards ceremony held May 6 at Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Ed Benjamin received third place in the Sports Reporting category for his report “Lou Savarese.” First and second place went to national sports station CNN/SI. News 12 The Bronx finished ahead of both ESPN and FOX Sports in the judging.
