Fox Sports Net today announced it will simulcast its live coverage of the Reds 2003 season opener on WKRC TV-12, on Monday, March 31 at 4 pm. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement.
Live coverage on Fox Sports Net begins at 3 pm with a special one-hour edition of "Real Reds" hosted by Dan Hoard, Jim Day and Jeff Piecoro.
"Fox Sports Net is proud to make this first game in a new era of Reds baseball available to all of their passionate fans," said Liverani. "We look forward to continuing to provide the most comprehensive coverage of the Reds as they kick off the 2003 season in the Great American Ball Park."
"The Reds would like to thank Clear Channel, WKRC and Fox Sports Net for working together to make this happen," said Reds chief operating officer John Allen. "This agreement will allow fans who are unable to get tickets to view this historic event on both cable and over-the-air television."
A complete list of Reds spring training and regular season games on Fox Sports Net will be announced shortly.
