April 06, 2004 – New York– Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation (RASCO), the advertising subsidiary of Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, announced the opening of two new offices as part of its expansion into key markets of Atlanta and Detroit. RASCO announced the addition of Jim Agius and Lee M. Freedman to lead the Detroit and Atlanta offices, respectively. In addition to day-to-day operations, Mr. Agius and Mr. Freedman will be responsible for furthering relationships with key clients in their regions, as well as developing sales strategies for AMC and WE: Women’s Entertainment.
“With the success and growth of these two networks, the time has come for us to open offices in these vital markets,” said Arlene Manos, president, National Advertising Sales for Rainbow networks. “The addition of these two offices puts the tools in place to meet the growing demands of businesses in these locations.”

Previously, Mr. Agius served in various ad sales roles for more than 17 years, most recently as senior vice president, National Sales Manager for The Weather Channel. At The Weather Channel, Mr. Agius was responsible for its advertising revenue, in addition to five of its regional offices, Direct Response and Specialized Advertising. Prior to his tenure at The Weather Channel, Mr. Agius held ad sales positions at ESPN, NBC Cable & International and A&E.
Prior to joining RASCO, Mr. Freedman served as National Account Manager, Premiere Radio Networks, responsible for selling network radio properties to national advertising clients and agencies in the Southeast. Mr. Freedman’s cable background includes ad sales positions at Fox Family Channel, ABC Family Channel, CNN, Headline News TBS and TNT Sports.
