Network Greenlights New Docu-Soap Kendra On Top

New York, NY – March 21, 2012 – WE tv has greenlit the new docu-soap KENDRA ON TOP showcasing former Playboy model, bestselling author and fitness guru Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett as she “gets her groove back,” balancing family, work and her personal ambitions. KENDRA ON TOP will join WE tv’s summer 2012 line-up of originals that showcase an unfiltered view of modern family life from a woman’s perspective. Summer 2012 will also feature the recently announced series CYNDI (wt), HAIR DIVAS: HOLLYWOOD (working title) and new episodes of the network’s hit series BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES.
WE tv has ordered 14 episodes of KENDRA ON TOP from Prometheus Entertainment, including a one-hour premiere and finale and 12 half-hour episodes; production begins in Los Angeles this month.

KENDRA ON TOP will chronicle Kendra’s journey as she takes control of her new identity. Known for being the outrageous, bodacious, sex symbol who once dated Hugh Hefner, she is now a loving mom to son Hank IV (“Little Hank”) and wife to former NFL player Hank Baskett III. She’s also on a mission to prove that she can be a mommy and still be a hottie. Along the way, she’s pulled in many directions but faces each challenge and opportunity with an upbeat attitude and an outrageously funny outlook on life. Meanwhile Hank is on his own journey to discover what life is like outside of the NFL. And, if that’s not enough, there’s talk of baby number two! Viewers will see a side of Kendra they’ve never seen before as she works to reinvent herself and does so through the all-important filter of being a wife and mom—her top priorities.
