JERICHO, NEW YORK, May 31, 2002 – When the fourth season of "Everyday Elegance with Colin Cowie" premieres on WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT on July 20 at 8:30 PM, a new and entertaining concept for the series will be unveiled – the "Style Council." The "Style Council" is a rotating roster of special guests who join Colin each week to discuss lifestyle issues, current trends and tips on simplifying our lives. The "Style Council" will include trendsetting personalities, experts and authors from the worlds of entertainment fashion and design including actress Jane Seymour, designer Cynthia Rowley, stylist Fredric Fekkai and restaurateurs Jean Georges Vongerichten, Todd English and Matthew Kenney.
With a modern point of view, "Everyday Elegance with Colin Cowie" blends entertainment with style information, inspiration and tips. Theme-inspired episodes will cover a wide range of topics including home décor, cuisine, fashion and beauty, including the following:
"Sexy & Sultry: The Romance Show" – Leading a sensible life doesn't mean you can't be sexy as well. From aphrodisiac foods to alluring interior design tips, Colin shows viewers how to heat things up at home and master the art of seduction.
"A Passport to Style" – Even if you don't plan to jet around the globe this summer, you can have the world at your feet. The Style Council offers tips on blending global influences into your own home, kitchen and personal style.
"Color your Life" – Color pervades every aspect of our lives, so why not make it work for you? Colin and the "Style Council" show viewers how to use color to liven up your home, liven your looks and even change your mood.
"Your Day, Your Way" – In this episode devoted exclusively to weddings, Colin offers tips normally reserved for his Hollywood clients. He and his panel of experts show viewers how to plan a million-dollar event on a dollars-and-good-sense budget, proving that the best weddings aren't the most lavish, but the ones filled with meaningful personal touches.
Colin Cowie, lifestyle designer and party planner to the stars, has orchestrated some of the most highly publicized events of the decade including weddings for Jerry Seinfeld, Kelsey Grammar, Lisa Kudrow, Paula Abdul, Kenny G., Don Henley and Hugh Hefner. Cowie is responsible for some of the world's most memorable fetes including, the A & M Records Grammy parties in 1996 & 1998 and the Elton John/InStyle Magazine Aids Foundation Oscar party in 1997, 1998, 2001 & 2002. Most recently, Cowie designed the 2002 Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards in New York City.
