March 6, 2010 Lineup Features Up-Close Interviews with 15 of this Year’s Nominees
New York, February 24, 2010 – Sundance Channel has scheduled a special treat for film fans in Europe and Asia. In celebration of the 2010 Academy Awards® ceremony, the channel will air a marathon of its celebrity talkfest, "In the House with Peter Bart and Peter Guber," on March 6, 2010, featuring multiple "Best Picture" nominated films, as well as exclusive interviews with 15 of this year’s nominees. Each back-to-back episode of the film industry news/interview show will pair Bart and/or Guber with another industry icon for a must-watch build-up to the Oscars®.
Featured nominee interviews include Morgan Freeman (Invictus), Kathryn Bigelow, Mark Boal & Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker), Gabourey Sidible & Lee Daniels (Precious), Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones), Quentin Tarantino & Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Carey Muligan (An Education,), Helen Mirren & Christopher Plummer (The Last Station), Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart), Woody Harrelson (The Messenger) and Colin Firth (A Single Man).
