New York, NY – 28 January 2014 – AMC/Sundance Channel Global, the international division of AMC Networks (NASDAQ: AMCX), announced today that Sundance Channel will launch as a 24-hour linear high definition channel and VOD service on VTR in Chile, the largest cable operator in the country. Today’s news follows Sundance Channel’s first-ever launch in Latin America in 2013. The network is now widely available across the region in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
