Mark Williams promoted to Senior Vice President, Brand Creative
Jessica Gleason promoted to Vice President, Production
New York, NY, March 5, 2014 – SundanceTV has promoted two New York based executives, Mark Williams and Jessica Gleason. It was announced today by Robert Battles, Senior Vice President of Creative Services, AMC Networks, to whom Mark Williams reports. Mark Williams has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Brand Creative for SundanceTV Creative Services and Jessica Gleason has been elevated to Vice President, Production for SundanceTV Creative Services. Gleason will continue to report to Williams.
Today’s news comes on the heels of the network’s recent rebrand from Sundance Channel to SundanceTV. Williams, who joined the company in 2006, oversees the creation of all video elements for on-air, off-channel, marketing, ad sales, public relations, digital, emerging platforms and affiliates. In his new role he will also oversee promo strategy and planning for the network. Gleason oversees the overall production management of video and broadcast projects for channel initiatives by strategizing, planning and supervising on-air production for original series campaigns and film franchises. She also supports multiple projects including sponsorship sales initiatives and marketing tentpole campaigns.

Prior to joining SundanceTV, Mark oversaw on air promotions at Court TV. Previously, he produced launch campaigns, film shoots and promotions for networks such as HBO, Cinemax, History Channel, A&E, HGTV and Bravo. He holds numerous PromaxBDA and film festival awards. Williams earned his MFA in Film & Television Production at New York University and his BA at Queen’s University, Canada. He is a member of PromaxBDA and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Gleason joined SundanceTV in 2003 as Director of Production. Prior to joining the network, Gleason served as the head of production for creative agency Beehive and worked on client accounts including HBO, MTV, Discovery, ESPN, Showtime, Disney, ABC, TNT and Lifetime. She began her career at Pisces Productions in Boston. Gleason earned her BS in Communications at Northeastern University. She is a member of PromaxBDA and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
