Cancel your plane tickets and hotel reservations — The Independent Film Channel (IFC) and IFCTV.com is bringing all the glitz, glamour and stars of the world's most prestigious film festival right into your living room! Celebrity red carpet arrivals and opening ceremonies will air exclusively on IFC Wednesday, May 15 at 2:00PM/ET. The awards presentations and closing ceremonies will air Sunday, May 26 at 1:00PM/ET.
Celebrity highlights will include a rare visit by Woody Allen, currently promoting his new film "Hollywood Ending," which opens the festival on May 15. The movie stars Allen, Debra Messing, Treat Williams, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and George Hamilton. Martin Scorsese will also be attending the opening night's festivities. Of special note, David Lynch and Catherine Deneuve will be there as Cinefoundation jurors as well as for the screening Lynch's film, "Gangs of New York."
Additionally, IFC's acclaimed Web site, is rolling out the red carpet for its media rich coverage of the Cannes Film Festival.
