Jericho, NY – July 15, 2004 – VOOM, the nations comprehensive high-definition satellite television service has announced that HDNews, the country's first 24-hour high-definition (HD) news channel will provide complete political convention coverage. Programming will include live reporting from the convention floor on HDNews. In addition, a 24-hour Convention Channel will be dedicated to providing viewers with over six hours of uninterrupted live coverage each night which will be replayed throughout the day and night. Making use of a high-definition pool feed of 13 cameras, HDNews will provide coverage of both conventions in their entirety.
