BRUNO AND THE BANANA BUNCH Premieres Saturday, March 1
New York, NY – February 24, 2008 – Animania HD, the channel solely dedicated to high-definition animation, announced today that it has acquired the preschool series BRUNO AND THE BANANA BUNCH from Paris based distributor awol. The 13-episode series, which is designed to inspire kids to explore and discover the world around them, will premiere on Saturday, March 1 at 9am ET/PT. Animania HD is part of the VOOM HD Networks, the world's largest and most diverse suite of high-definition channels, and features such popular kids' series as ANIMALIA, THE GLOOPS and COSMIC QUANTUM RAY.

BRUNO AND THE BANANA BUNCH captures the exciting adventures of Bruno, a playful monkey, and his colorful cast of animal friends. With his quirky sense of humor and childlike wonder, Bruno inspires kids to explore and discover their world through imaginative play. Bruno's best friends, The Banana Bunch, are always eager to cheer on Bruno and get in on the fun. Together, they invent imaginative games featuring colors, numbers, shapes and sizes, with a strong focus on early math and number skills that serve as building blocks for future learning. Narrated by Maurice Dean Wint, this series will provide delightful fun for both children and parents alike.
