AMC+ today released a sneak peek from the highly-anticipated mystery drama The Last Anniversary, premiering exclusively on the streaming platform on Sunday, March 30 in the US and Canada. New episodes will drop weekly on Sundays. Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling novel from Liane Moriarty and from the producers of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, the captivating six-episode drama stars Teresa Palmer (A Discovery of Witches, The Fall Guy) as Sophie Honeywell, a young woman finding herself drawn into a complex web of family secrets after inheriting a house on a remote island.

Sophie Honeywell has just inherited a house on Scribbly Gum Island – a mysterious gift that threatens to unearth secrets held close by the three generations of women who call this remarkable island their home.
The Last Anniversary is set on the remote, but beautiful Scribbly Gum Island, a place of many secrets. The one that made it famous — the disappearance of a young couple decades ago — might have made the island a destination for true crime tourists, but when Sophie Honeywell (Palmer) inherits a house on the island, it’s the fresh start she’s craving. After the unwelcome reception she receives on arrival, she begins to investigate the mysteries of the island and finds herself drawn into a complex web of long-held family secrets spanning three generations of women, uncovering far more than ever expected.
The Last Anniversary features a prominent supporting cast including Miranda Richardson (Good Omens), Danielle Macdonald (The Tourist), Claude Scott-Mitchell (Hotel Portofino), Helen Thomson (Colin from Accounts), Uli Latukefu (Laid), Susan Prior (The Rover), Jeremy Lindsay Taylor (Return to Paradise), Xavier Samuel (Apple Cider Vinegar), Angela Punch McGregor (Troppo), Charlie Garber (Barons), Leon Ford (Elvis), Nikki Shiels (Prosper), Elizabeth Cullen (Elvis), Josephine Blazier (Audry) and Ines English (The Last Days of the Space Age).
The Last Anniversary is produced by Fifth Season, Made Up Stories and Blossom Films. Samantha Strauss serves as head writer, with John Polson directing all six episodes. Sara L. Walker co-writes Episodes 3 and 6, with additional writing credits including Giula Sandler for Episode 4 and Greg Waters for Episode 5. Bruna Papandrea, Jodi Matterson and Steve Hutensky serve as executive producers for Made Up Stories, with Per Saari and Nicole Kidman executive producing for Blossom Films, alongside Alison Hurbert-Burns and Lana Greenhalgh for BINGE. Strauss, Polson and Liane Moriarty also serve as executive producers.
