New York, NY, June 24, 2008 – WE tv (www.WEtv.com) announced today the appointment of Necole Merritt, vice president of public affairs, Cox Communications, to the network’s WE Empowers Women advisory council. WE Empowers Women, the network’s public affairs initiative is dedicated to providing education and assistance to women and girls so that they can lead a fulfilling life and achieve their full potential. As an advisory council member, Necole will provide guidance, expertise and extensive knowledge in the public affairs and communications fields to the initiative.
