Suzanne Gladstone Murch Promoted to VP, Original Programming

David Stefanou Joins WE tv as VP, Development

Angela Molloy Joins Network’s LA Office as VP, Development

New York, NY, December 10, 2014 – Following Lauren Gellert’s promotion to the newly created position of executive vice president of development and original programming, WE tv today announced several other executive appointments to its growing original programming team. Suzanne Gladstone Murch has been upped from executive producer to the newly created role of vice president, original programming, overseeing all unscripted production.  David Stefanou joins WE tv as vice president, development, overseeing the network’s ongoing search for fresh, new unscripted series.  Further expanding its west coast presence, WE tv has appointed Angela Molloy as vice president, development, to work closely with west coast based production partners and agencies.  Murch and Stefanou are based in WE tv’s NYC headquarters and report to Gellert.  Molloy, based in the network’s LA office, reports to Stefanou.

Murch has been an executive producer at WE tv since June 2010 and has overseen the network’s hit shows like “Marriage Boot Camp,” “L.A. Hair” and “Kendra on Top.”  Prior to WE tv, she was an executive producer at VH1 where she had a first look development and production deal and created the hit show, “The Pick Up Artist.”  Suzanne is a Peabody and Emmy Award-winning producer. Her production company (Olde/Gladstone Productions) had numerous projects with a wide array of clients including MTV, Lifetime and Disney.   Murch also served as co-producer on 20th Century Fox’s [FTSP/FoxLab] first syndicated medical reality show, “Trauma Center.”  A former journalist, she oversaw an investigative unit and sweeps programming for KCOP, Los Angeles before leaving news in 1998 to produce MTV’s critically acclaimed “BioRhythm” with Jeff Olde.

Prior to WE tv Stefanou oversaw “Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes” (OWN), “Too Cute” (Animal Planet) and “The A List” franchise (Logo), as well as series for Bravo, Discovery and TLC at True Entertainment. Additionally, he led the company’s foray into scripted fare and oversaw unscripted development. He also served as vice president of original programming at Oxygen where he launched “Hair Battle Spectacular,” “Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too,” and “Dance Your Ass Off,” and oversaw continuing series “Bad Girls Club,” “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” and “Snapped.”  He held previous positions at MTV UK, Wendy Finerman Productions and Franklin & Siegel Associates.

Molloy has produced hit series such as “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” for Bravo and “Life with LaToya” on OWN in addition to developing and producing shows for HGTV, A&E, TLC, VH1, and Reelz.  She also served as a director of programming at TLC working on event television including “Miss America Live,” “Miss America: Countdown to the Crown,” and “This is Why You’re Single.” She has also held positions at 3Ball Productions and PBS.
