BOSTON, MA – Fox Sports Net today announced that Wendi Nix has been hired as a reporter/weekend anchor for New England’s live, regional sportscasts, the 11PM Regional Sports Report and 6:30PM New England Sports Tonight. David Woodman, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Fox Sports Net New England, made the announcement.
“Wendi will bring a fresh perspective to Fox Sports Net’s regional sportscasts,” said Woodman. “She is an exciting, up and coming local journalist who will round out a talented staff of sports news anchors. We are pleased to add Wendi to our team.”
Nix received her Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts. She most recently served as a weekend anchor with New England Sports Network (NESN) for NESN SportsDesk. Nix began her career as an intern at NESN and previously worked with WPDE NewsChannel 15 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and with UPN 21 in Florence, South Carolina.

The 11PM Regional Sports Report is the place New England sports fans turn for the most comprehensive look at the world of sports from a local, hometown perspective 7 nights a week. New England Sports Tonight airs Monday through Friday at 6:30PM.
