Fox Sports Net, the home for more games and the most comprehensive coverage of the White Sox and Cubs, is ready to give Chicago baseball fans another afternoon of thrilling cross-town interleague coverage this Friday, June 28 at 12 NOON.
Fox Sports Net’s coverage of the White Sox vs. Cubs battle from Comiskey Park begins with a live, on-site, special edition of the ATA White Sox PRE at 12 NOON. Damon Andrews and former White Sox slugger Bill Melton will host the show with Gail Fischer serving as the White Sox reporter, along with Eric Goodman and Mike Bielecki covering the Cubs.
ATA White Sox PRE will also have special features on Frank Thomas and Fred McGriff, a comparison of the attributes of both ballparks, along with live coverage of the “Miller Lite Pitch for a Million” contest, where one of five lucky contestants will have the chance to win $1 million by throwing one pitch from the pitcher’s mound into a designated Miller Lite target behind home plate. The event is scheduled to take place on the field at approximately 12:40 PM.
Fox Sports Net will be adding extra cameras to enhance the coverage of the first game of the series, which is set for a 1:05 PM first pitch. FSN’s White Sox announcing tandem of Ken “Hawk” Harrelson and Darrin Jackson will call the game. Following the game, fans can look forward to extended post-game coverage on the Dodge of Midlothian White Sox POST, which will include a big screen TV give-away from “The Little Guys” (viewers can register at FSNChicago.com).
