Women’s Basketball Action Returns To FOX Sports Net For The 2000-2001 Season

Regional Sports Network Also Provides Coverage of Exciting Tournament Action

CLEVELAND – The Fox Sports Net regional network in Ohio today announced its women’s college basketball schedule for the 2000-2001 season. In addition to a full line-up of regional and national conference action, the network will also cover several conference tournaments. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net (Ohio) made the announcement.

Cleveland State tips-off the season against Yale on Sunday, November 19
(2:00 PM). Additional regional basketball action scheduled during the season includes five games featuring the University of Kentucky, seven games highlighting Xavier University, and seven match-ups with the University of Dayton, including the March 4th game against Xavier.

The 2000-2001 season tips-off on Saturday, December 2 at 4:00 PM with a Big 12 match-up between UCLA and Colorado.

Regional basketball action scheduled during the season includes Atlantic 10 match-ups from Dayton and Xavier, Big 10 action with Ohio State and Indiana and a full schedule of Mid-American Conference games including the Championship Final game on Saturday, March 10 at 1:00PM.

In addition to a full schedule of regular season games, Fox Sports Net will also provide fans exciting conference tournament action featuring PAC 10, Atlantic 10, Mid-American Conference, and Conference USA teams.
